Watercolor Emico: Black and Washed Black

So.. almost a year after I've started working on this skin the 1st style is finally done. This version contains the Black substyles with a "Modern" and a "Classic" taskbar.
This skin is based on the skin called "Watercolor". It's a skin that was being used in the beta's of XP.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This version contains a Black and a Washed Black version. Washed Black is less dark as you can see in the preview. It also has green sliders and progressbars instead of the blue ones in Black.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to install:

Extract the folder called "WE Black" to "C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes".
Right click the desktop > properties > appearance > then from the first drop select "Watercolor Emico: Black"
From the 2nd drop downlist you can make a choice between the "Black Modern", "Black Classic", "Washed Black Modern" and the "Washed Black Classic" substyle.
In the 3rd drop downlist you can make a choice between a "Normal" or a "Compact" start panel.

To use this theme you need to patch the Windows system file uxtheme.dll. You can read about how to do that here: [link]

"bugs" I know of:
* Some palet frames arent drawn the correct way. (Now idea how to fix this yet)
* In some webbrowsers the buttons might be resized the wrong way. (Browser bug)
* Multi row taskbar does not look good in the Modern substyle. (Theme)

Modification:
For personal use only.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bug fixes and updates:

21-06-08:
- Changed the toolbar buttons and the placebar buttons from orange to blue
- Fixed the top taskbar

16-04-09:
- Added the shellstyle

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wallpaper used in the preview is Dawn Wall

I like the "Black" Modern best, just judging from the preview.
Will play around with it now.
Thank you for this WE series of VS's, they are better than anything else to-date.
Definitely :+fav:
Thanks, it was really worth the wait!

Now I'm waiting for what will be my most favorite version, the grey/silver one...
That might be getting an early release =P It'll have the same color schemes as black. The only thing that'll be different is the black frames.
Very nice! I love it - it is on my PC right now ;)

Btw, maybe you can add blue hover on buttons (in toolbars etc) and "colored" hover on min/max/close (maybe blue/yellow/red?)? And I would like in black style titlebar to be fully black, and only part with min/max/close to be dark gray (so, opposite from now)...

Anyway, it is great VS!

This is the final look for the Black style. If I'm going to change the hover for the caption buttons all consistency will be gone. Changing the captionbar colors the opposite way also is out of the question. It's all based on the original Watercolor so I'm not going to break that look.
I love it, my favorite color :) Thanks
